Have students create this pennant at the beginning of the year as a great get to know me activity. I plan to laminate them and hang them up in a banner style in the front of my class. I use a set of these cards as a quick way to partner up my students. They must find the card that goes with theirs, such as peanut butter and jelly or washer and dryer. I added a picture with the words to help out the little ones. My kids get a kick out of finding their match and it usually ends up taking less than 2 minutes of class time to find partners without anyone feeling left out. Enjoy!
