I use a set of these cards as a quick way to partner up my students. They must find the card that goes with theirs, such as peanut butter and jelly or washer and dryer. I added a picture with the words to help out the little ones. My kids get a kick out of finding their match and it usually ends up taking less than 2 minutes of class time to find partners without anyone feeling left out. Enjoy!

Use this journal to introduce cursive penmanship to the primary grades. Each page includes the capital and lowercase version of the alphabet, a sentence using the letter and a picture to color. I created this engineering packet to be used with 2nd graders. This packet lays the foundation for having students go through the engineering process by designing and constructing a sail boat that will float down a river. The river I used was a taped out path on tile. The force used to get the boats moving is a simple fan. We then measure to see whose boat can float the farthest in 10 seconds. Students are then asked to revise their boat to float farther.
