I created this writing activity to get the kiddos outside observing the beautiful spring weather. I knew this would get them engaged. We went out and did observations in our notebooks using our senses and then came back to write a poem with them. They had a blast!
This presentation is used as an intro to my Build a Boat Engineering project. I used the images and chart of the engineering process displayed to gain student interest and build background.
