Students solve 4 problems on their own. (2 computation, 2 word problems). When finished, the students check answers with their teammates and agree on all the answers. They can staple them all together and if they get them all correct as a group, they receive a half off homework pass.
*This activity contains 3 parts: a game board, a sheet of 30 adding integers problems, and answers.
*Step 1: Students write the answers from the “Answers” sheet on the line on the
“Game Board” There are 25 lines, but 30 answers so they will not use 5 answers.
*Step 2: Students will start at problem 1 and solve it. Once they have an answer
they will find that answer on the “’Game Board” and write the problem number in
the box. They will continue this process until they have a “Matho”.
