Students will research prices of Thanksgiving foods at multiple grocery stores. The goal is to figure out which grocery store has the most affordable prices.

This Jeopardy game is a great way for students to practice their multiplication skills before an assessment. I put players in teams of 3-4 students. Based on the question I give them an certain amount of time to answer the question. All group members must work together to solve the problem before the time runs out. There are 7 affirmation circles that can be edited! Affirmation circles can be hung on your doors, wall, mirrors, desks, etc. I printed out the circles, laminated them, and attached them to the bathroom mirror!

This Metric System chart makes it very easy for students to make conversions. It uses the same idea of the place value chart and helps students understand that the metric system uses base 10s. If King Henry is climbing the stairs, then the unit is getting larger, but the quantity is getting smaller. If King Henry is going down the stairs the unit is getting smaller, but the quantity gets larger.

Print slides double sided (on short-edge). Laminate and cut out pieces.
