This is the test that I made for The Graduation of Jake Moon for my RR English class. We watched a few videos about Alzheimer's. Both can be googled and found. The Ted Talk is on Youtube, "The Forgetting: A Portrait of Alzheimer's" is on pbs.org. You can choose to include these as part of your test or not. This is test that I created for my high school resource room English class over The Acorn People by Ron Jones. It has matching characters to their description, some fill in the blank questions, short answer questions, and 2 essay questions. It is in Microsoft Word, so it can be edited to fit your class/needs. There is an answer key provided.

This is a double bubble chart that I made for students to compare and contrast the book and the movie for So B. It. The center blue ovals are for comparing, and the colored ones are for the differences. It's in Word Document and can be edited, but I did group all of the shapes together to make them one. This can either be typed on (I included text boxes), or it can be printed and written on.

George's Marvelous Medicine Medicine Presentation

Students read George's Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl. Afterwards, they were to create their own medicine. They had to draw a picture of what the bottle would look like, give the medicine a name, and describe what it would do. They also needed to include what ingredients they would use. This is the checklist I used for when they presented to the class.
