Spelling final /k/. Students are to read the words adding the final /k/ sound. The coding of the vowels (breve/macron) let's them know if it's supposed to be a short or a long vowel sound, so they know which word to spell. This is a test I made for my students over United Seventh Grade by Alyssa Raffaele. The book is about a small town that cancelled seventh grade due to the behavior issues of the students and teachers quitting. The students then get sent to an interim location where they learn there aren't any adults around. This book can be found on Amazon as well as a few other sites if you google it. My students enjoyed it.
