In this product students will be conducting research on common symbols found in literature. On the first slide of each section, they will determine what the items symbolize. On the second slide of each section, they will write a symbolic sentence with the symbolic word within the sentence. This is a great back to school activity to have on students desks when they enter your classroom so they immediately have something to do! Students need to use inference clues in riddles guess what school supply is being described. 17 riddles in all with answer key! Students will complete on Google Drive!

I was homeschooled throughout my entire early education. In fact, my first day teaching in the classroom was my first day in a public school!
