This comprehensive review is what I use for students as they are preparing for the AP exam. It is a great resource that students can utilize at home and at their own pace! I have outlined the five steps I use for each unit to maximize scores and identify strengths and weaknesses for each student. Step One includes a review presentation on major concepts; step two is access to my kahoot on the same presentation; step three is a link to a prep survey (a kind of checklist) to make sure all concepts
I have attached a pdf of the presentation (but will send you my google drive version after purchase if you prefer). This is a 59-slide presentation that covers process of elimination, as well as a showcase practice for the reading test. The rest of the presentation goes over each test on the ACT (including the writing section) and has additional linked materials. Each subsection of the test has a review sheet attached, as well as practice drills. Additional links are provided at the end from fre

This is a presentation I use to introduce students to civil rights and liberties. There are MANY important court cases explained, but most of them deal with the First Amendment and rights of the accused. The end also includes cases on gun ownership and abortion. I have spent a lot of time making this something that students can use at home. Almost every slide has a link to a video or article to help them understand the court cases.

This practice includes a link to a ted-ed video, 10 scenarios that students will match the amendments to, a link to

I use this presentation to introduce students to what our rights look like in practice. We examine key court cases for Amendments 2-10 and discuss how these rights are defined today. This is an introduction to civil liberties that will be further refined later in the semester. At the end, there is a link to practice for students. There is a list of more court cases that students can choose to look up and conduct research on. Directions for completing the writing assignment are included.
