Experience

I have been teaching for 19 years. 10 years in 4th grade, 2 years in 5th, 1 year in 6th grade math, 1 year in 7th grade math, & 5 years as an instructional coach. I love all things math!

Teaching style

I generally follow the principle of less teacher talk and more student centered learning. I use a lot of cooperative learning structures in my classroom and strive to provide an engaged learning environment.

I am a wife & a mother to 3 beautiful daughters. I grew up in Southern California, but have lived in Phoenix since 2004. My family is full of teachers, and this is what I've wanted to do since I was a little girl. It is truly a passion of mine and I consider it a God-given gift.
