About the store
Lynette Vincent is a music educator who has taught K-6 general music, middle school and high school choir, and music education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Vincent received her Ph.D. from the University of North Texas and her undergraduate & master's degrees from Lamar University, Beaumont, TX. She has presented successful clinics at Texas Music Educators Association; Minnesota Music Educators Association; and Texas Choral Directors Assocation. Vincent has Kodály certification from the Plano ISD Kodály program at UNT & SMU and Orff I from SMU.

This is a master copy of the Hungarian children's song and canon "One Jar of Apples". This is a fun counting song! This folk song fits beautifully into the typical Kodaly sequence when r is introduced. This is a good folk song to use with older beginners using a sequence that starts with drm. Students enjoy substituting other items for "apples" in the song text.
