Experience

I have been teaching for 29 years, and just finished my 16th year teaching 2nd graders. I have also taught Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I am excited to take on the role of Reading Interventionist at my school site, next year!

I received my B.A. in Ethnic Studies/Sociology and Multiple Subjects/Bilingual/Cross-Cultural teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside. I also received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am a proud mom of two phenomenal young adults. I love to cook, bake, camp, hike, and read!
