This is a four day lesson that incorporates the idea of persuasion, whether it is to assist an English Language Arts class or a Business class. Students will apply previously reviewed techniques of persuasion in order to sell their "invention" to a group of "Sharks". This is a packet of materials that includes detailed lesson plans, an informational handout, a rubric, and an idea. The idea is an inquiry-based kick-off to a persuasive unit that revolves around very deep, thought-provoking questions. This can, however, be used at any time, and it is not just relevant for the introduction of a persuasive unit. The premise of these (3) lessons is based on inquiry into the subject/idea of persuasion. Each group within a class receives a question (or problem) the
