This is the final version of my popular "Shark Tank Persuasion" product. In this package you will receive everything you would for my free version, but you will also get a very important outline handout that will assist the students in the inquiry process. It can also be used as questions for "The Sharks" to ask after a given presentation.
I assure you that, if you liked my free version, this new version adds extra organization and polish. You will not be disappointed.
This is a four day lesson that incorporates the idea of persuasion, whether it is to assist an English Language Arts class or a Business class. Students will apply previously reviewed techniques of persuasion in order to sell their "invention" to a group of "Sharks".
You will receive detailed lesson plans for all four days, an informational handout, and a thorough rubric for grading, all highly customizable to fit your needs. However, the major asset to this package is the idea. The lesson idea
This is a two day lesson that incorporates the science of persuasion. The idea revolves around Dr. Robert Cialdini's (Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Marketing, Arizona State University) idea that there are six sciences of persuasion. Attached to this bundle is the URL to his video, a worksheet that applies his concept (and ideally leads to strong inquiry-based classroom discussions), and a two-day lesson pack.

This is a packet of materials that includes detailed lesson plans, an informational handout, a rubric, and an idea. The idea is an inquiry-based kick-off to a persuasive unit that revolves around very deep, thought-provoking questions. This is a character trait reflection form that I give to my students that are having a hard time with certain traits that will make them successful in the real world. This is self-created, but I got the idea from the book How Children Succeed: Grit, Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character.
This is not a hardcore disciplinary action. It's meant to be more of a reflection over the specific trait that was "weak" at the time of incident. Some traits include self-control and optimism.

This is a contract that I have my students sign for specific job duties in my classroom. The two listed in this document include the titles "Paper-Passer-Outer" and "Warm-up Checker". These contracts allow students to take their positions seriously. Once I have them actually sign them, I place them in the room as recognition of their positions.
If you want to save time, and you don't want to create an idea like this yourself, then this is a good buy for you. This document can be fully altered
