In this assignment, students begin by identifying and exploring infographics. They then must select a topic which they want to explore and create an infographic. The package includes the assignment sheet, guiding questions, success criteria, a rubric and sample infographics to view.

This is a compilation of many questions which can be used for the three part math lesson, or for problem of the week questions. The questions are divided by mathematical strand. Each question requires the student to inquire and apply their mathematical thinking to develop a solution. In total, there are 24 questions which can be used, or adapted to suit your needs.

This is a culminating task for 3D Measurement. It was designed for Grade 7, but can easily be modified for other grades as well. The activity is tied to social justice. I did it in conjuction with their unit on global awareness. Each child in my classes had chosen a charity to investigate and raise money for throughout the year. This is a booklet for students to communicate their mathematical thinking. It is focused on the use of math journals and problem solving techniques for students to use. The booklet includes steps for students, a description of the journal process, tips on problem solving, a blank template, and a math journal rubric.
