The activity involves students changing different dimensions of solids and observing then explaining the affects the changes had. I used this during the transformations unit in my standard 8th grade math class. I had students fill out rows as closures for class periods. It helped them to have a running list of all pertinent vocabulary with diagrams and/or examples. This could also be used as a review activity at the end of the unit before a test.
