This is BOTH the colored and black and white versions of my Human Body Book. I have discounted this if you have bought both.
It is nice to have a colored copy for a teacher edition/presentation and a black and white version for the students.
Oh the ways we work! This book is an intricate look at how the human body works. I go through the human body systems (warning: there is NO reproductive system). The systems I do cover are: general directions of body organization, Integumentary System, Skel
This is BOTH the colored and black and white versions of my Plant Books. Sometimes it's great to have a colored copy for the teacher edition/presentation and a black and white copy for the students' own use.
I have created a hand drawn book to help students understand the biology of plants by bringing it to life visually. So many of our students get bogged down with the vocabulary of science and it is hard to get the concepts to stick. Not much is more difficult to understand than things like

Please look at the other Genetic Book files in my store to view thumbnail images.
DNA is one of my favorite topics in all of science! It is so simple and so complex at the same time!!! I have hand drawn this book to show my love for DNA and for how genetics in general works. Genetics was a fun topic to draw out because there are so many variations! This is a great tool for

Photosynthesis is such a difficult subject for students to grasp! This comic goes into it in a fun and engaging way with some subtle humor to keep the students paying attention. This goes into depth into the chemical reactions of the electron transport chain, the Calvin cycle, and all the steps along the way. I have enjoyed making photosynthesis really come to life- and I hope you will also enjoy it!
This is a great way to end a unit on Genetics. Having your students write this 5 paragraph paper allows you to judge whether a student really knows about how mutations and genetics works or not. It also brings the literacy component into the science classroom. This will help students not only understand how to write about science, but also how to read about science. Reading science journals and articles can be tricky. This is a nice way to either introduce the concept to your students or to
This is a great introductory experiment on measurement and experimentation. It uses concepts like CM, ML, G, water displacement, and many more. It has a data table for students to record their results and guiding questions throughout the experiment. Step by step procedures for students are included. Also included is a materials list and teacher notes, with an answer key. I would use this near the beginning of the school year to help build relationships and good lab techniques.

I have drawn a plant cell and an animal cell and have in bubble letters the organelle names and functions. I have also included a sheet of my ideas of how to use this worksheet. Please enjoy!
This is a comic strip that I came up with to help explain the characteristics of life. It is a little cheeky so that middle school students will have a good giggle while learning about why a brick is not alive.
