This project goes along with Realidades 3 Unit 2. Students will choose a famous artist (painter, architect, singer, musician, actor, director, etc.) and create a project about them. They will need to write a biography about their artist, create a presentation to give to the class and they will create a five-minute mini-lesson based on their artist. This exam is based off the Realidades 3 Textbook. It is 100 multiple choice questions, with a bubble sheet included. It also includes the answer sheet and the reading prompts. This exam includes the regular present tense, irregular present, reflexives, verbs like gustar, saber vs conocer, possessive adjectives, regular preterite, irregular preterite, regular imperfect and irregular imperfect as well as vocabulary.

This is an original unit exam based off the Review Unit of Realidades 3. It covers the regular present tense, irregular present, stem changing verbs, reflexive verbs, verbs like gustar and the regular preterite tense.

This project is based around the Realidades 2 textbook, Unit 2A. It requires all of the information that students have learned so far, with an emphasis on reflexive verbs and clothing vocabulary. The project includes the rubric, an outline, a rough draft page and a final draft page. Students should fill in the outline by answering the questions in complete sentences, then write their rough draft, then have a partner correct it before writing their final draft.

Students will create a poem describing themselves. This project requires adjectives, proper gender agreement and correct use of the verb ser. Then, they will need to have visuals to go along with the poem. This project comes from the 'Poema en Diamante' project in the review unit of Realidades 2.

These stations cover reflexive verbs and clothing vocabulary. There are five different stations that include: a conjugation game, partner speaking, reading comprehension, written response and a paragraph correction.

Three 80 minute lessons on Afro-Latino culture, history and peoples. Students will enjoy learning about a topic they don't have the opportunity to learn about in their history classes. They will explore different famous Afro-Latinos, the history of the slave trade to Latin America and current-day issues surrounding colorism, discrimination and bias in Latin America.

This is a great intro to Afro-Latinos and their history, culture and traditions. Students will enjoy having the opportunity to learn more about Afro-Latinos, which is a topic often ignored in their history classes. Slides include a brief history reading in Spanish and a youtube video in English. The discussions should surround the discrimination, bias and racism that the videos highlight. (80 minute lesson)

This study guide has all of the material covered in Realidades 3 Unit 1A. It covers the preterite as well as nature vocabulary. (The page looks jumbled up, but it doesn't download that way). I had them do stations with the study guide, but it could all be adjusted to just be a study guide.

This is the final lesson of the Intro to Afro-Latino unit. Students will review what they learned last class. Then, they will watch a music video from a famous Afro-Colombian group. This song discusses issues of racism, poverty, colorism and bias. After watching the video, students will discuss the physical things they saw in the video. This is a really fun activity for practicing the verb ser, adjectives and to get your students up and moving around the room. Students have to guess who they are by asking other students questions about themselves.

This project was the culmination of the review unit for Spanish 3, but it could be used for different levels and with different tenses. Students had to include sentences with ser, estar, reflexives (daily routine), time of day, etc. The students really enjoyed the creativity granted to them by this project.
