This is a small collection of family-themed vocabulary cards for your word wall. Each card features a picture and a word to help your students identify, read, and write family-related vocabulary. I realize that families can take different shapes and I have not tried to cover all of the variety of forms that family may take. I created this weather chart to use in my kindergarten classroom during our daily calendar time. The chart features six types of weather that are most common during the school year in my part of New England: sunny, foggy, snowy, rainy, cloudy, and partly cloudy. Every day, my students and I read the question at the top of the chart ("What is the weather today?") and decide how to answer.
