This pattern makes ease of creating a fun craft activity as an after reading project. Students can cut out the pieces and glue them onto a paper plate to create a 'Wild Thing' mask. They can use these for plays, dances, or just fun! They are adorable when complete and will stand as a reminder of the classic picture book. This is a great culminating project for synonyms. This set includes 20 different pages of rolls with 100 different words. Each student receives a sheet of six 'synonym' rolls with one word on each roll. They use a thesaurus to find as many synonyms for each word as possible. They write the synonyms on the circular lines of the rolls. The rolls are then cut out and glued to a piece of aluminum foil for the appearance of being on a cookie sheet! This is a reference guide your students can refer to throughout the year. It is great for review and test prep. It also works great as a cumulative activity after teaching all the properties. This packet is an easy to follow guide for learning all 50 states and their locations. Students will learn 3-5 states per week; building as they go until they are proficient with all of the states. Included are study guides, practice pages, and quizzes for each week. The process takes 15 weeks and all materials are included.
