About the store
I have taught in one of the country's largest public school districts for the past ten years. I taught first grade for three years, fourth grade for two years, and third grade for five years. I have experience teaching a nine month calendar as well as a year round schedule with five tracks. I also have extensive knowledge of the RTI process for both intervention and acceleration.

I have experience teaching a nine month calendar as well as a year round schedule with five tracks. I also have extensive knowledge of the RTI process for both intervention and acceleration.

My own education history

I have of BA in educational instruction and a MA in curriculum and instruction. I received my BA from UNLV and my MA from UOP. I have taken numerous PD courses in many subject areas, as I am always looking to explore new options in the field of education.

Additional biographical information

I live in Las Vegas and teach in a low socio-economic area of the city. My family has lived in Las Vegas for over twenty years. My husband and I have been married for twenty-seven years and have two children. My son and daughter are currently both attending UNLV. I truly enjoy my career and constantly seek ways to improve my teaching and engage my students. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and football season! The Denver Broncos are my team, as we are originally from Colorado.
