Students will cut out and sort examples that represent: -Identity Property of 1 -Zero Property of Multiplication -Commutative Property of Multiplication -Associative Property of Multiplication -Distributive Property I've found that it's best to enhance understanding the properties to compare and see them side by side. An extension would be to have students write a math journal entry explaining what each property shows and a general rule.

I have found that having this note packet has helped my students stay organized and able to refer back to previous lessons as needed. It is designed to have a timed portion on cover page, then the students rip it off and turn it in when time is called. Then they can proceed to complete the rest of the test. It can be administered multiple times in the year to show growth and mastering of the standards.

This module has a lot of new vocabulary terms for our students. In order for them to remember them, they need to apply them in multiple contexts. This crossword helps with triggering definitions and correct spelling. Suggested use for a center or homework. I also included a "word bank" so you can differentiate the level of support. If you don't want to give all of the words, you can also differentiate by putting some of the letters in as a hint.
