Grade – 3 Lab Overview – The students will move from task to task to complete the soil lab. Materials– Soil samples, Dixie cups, plastic knives and paper plates Suggestions: Purchase sand, small pebbles and humus. Leaves, hair bows etc.). Samples of real fossils; pictures will work. Suggestions: Coat items with Vaseline before pressing them into the plaster.
