This is an assessment intended to check the following skills to begin a geometry course: 1) adding and subtracting positive numbers 2) evaluating operations by squaring and adding 3) evaluating radical expressions (and using calculator to round to the nearest hundredth) Order of operations is addressed here using "PEMDAS", a common acronym used to help students remember.
