This project is something I do during our very first unit in 6th grade, which is the Number System for us. There are 3 different levels included to use with gifted to low students. You can edit as needed as well. The students create a poster or book answering the questions listed for their level. I use this product with the game Jenga (or a tumbling towers game). This could also be used as a review worksheet or even an assessment. This could be used in a center or in groups as well. My students absolutely love when we do this review for any test or concept. The product includes 48 review problems over decimal operations, as well as additional problems if needed. It also includes an answer key for review or grading purposes.

This activity is aligned to sixth grade common core standards dealing with finding sales price, original price and percent of a number (there are even a few questions that can deal with unit rate and proportion use). This is a scavenger hunt using QR Codes based on decimal operations. The students scan the QR code and read the word problem. They solve the word problem and find the answer around the room, which will lead them to scan another problem. This is a great way to review all 4 decimal operations, word problems, and incorporate technology. There is a sheet for the students to record their answers and an answer key is included.
