This is a response sheet that you can use as you teach recognizing how a character responds to a major event or challenge. You can make this into a poster, use under the document camera, and/or make copies for the kids to use independently. Here are some titles of great books to use with this sheet: "A Chair for My Mother" "Memory String" "Nana Upstairs and Nana Downstairs"

So after making a plural nouns endings activity for y and s, I decided to make this sorting activity to review endings -ies along with y and s. Students decide which ending goes with the word in the box sheet and write it in the line next to it. They then cut out the boxes and sort them into the foldable with two flaps. I've had book bin labels in the past that have been so specific that I didnt have/find any books to put into them. This year, I am going to go a simpler route.
