Experience

I've taught kindergarten and 1st grade. I have 32 years teaching experience in a Title school.

Teaching style

Eleanor Roosevelt said, "You must do the thing you think you cannot do." Improving student achievement is at the heart of what I do with students each day. I work in a Title school with students who are at or below the poverty level. I take students who think they can't and turn them into students who KNOW they can. I love what I do. I believe in focusing instruction on what is real, relevant and engaging.
