I have been teaching high school Spanish since 2011. I have taught Spanish 1, 2 and 3, and I have also tutored students in each of these levels. All of the products I post are documents that I have made as extra practice for my students. I have taught students of all abilities including honors/ gift and talented classes, average college prep courses and classes with struggling students. Some of my students have had learning disabilities, and because my school has an inclusion program, I have had the opportunity to teach students with Down Syndrome and autism.

Vida y muerte en la MS13 - Spanish 4 Unit Documents
I taught Vida y muerte en la Mara Salvatrucha 13 in my Spanish 4 class, and I put these documents together to help teach the book and guide the students as they read each chapter. This packet contains comprehension questions for each chapter of the book. These vocabulary activities and quizzes match up with Chapter 2.2 with the Avancemos 1 textbook. The words are based on Classroom Items, Places in the School, Location Phrases, and Emotion words. I use these activities as supplemental practice to the activities provided by the Avancemos text book. Extra vocabulary practice for the sports vocabulary (musculoso, la red, La Copa Mundial, etc.) This crossword coincides with Chapter 2.1 of the Avancemos Spanish 2 Textbook.
I use this in my class to provide students with practice within a context. Students have to write the words twice, in the clues and in the puzzle. These activities match up with Chapter 4.1 of the Avancemos Spanish 1 textbook, but will match up with your lesson if you are learning basic clothing items (pants, shirt, dress, socks, shoes, etc.), colors, and seasons. This document is 120 multiple choice questions to practice the vocabulary taught in the Avancemos textbook from chapters 3.2-6.1. There are 20 questions per chapter. I use these questions as a review for the final exam in my Spanish 3 classes. These activities correspond with the Spanish 2 Avancemos textbook for chapter 5.1. This chapter includes food words such as spicy, sweet, sour, the onion, the lettuce, the spinach, etc.
I use these activities as a supplement to the book, the Did you get it resource worksheets and the workbook activities. Some of the activities are simple, introductory practice to help students become familiar words. Others are more difficult and have students use the words in a context.
