The Hobbit has been released in theaters! What better way to learn more about this classic book than reading it! This is a vocabulary study using five different graphic organizers to teach vocabulary words from The Hobbit. There are words selected from each chapter in their own graphic organizer for students to use. Here are five graphic organizers/templates for use with new vocabulary. Many of the templates have spaces for pictures of the defined word, as well as, sentences and student friendly definitions. There are organizers for one or many words at once. Students also have a scale to rate their understanding of the word on many of the templates.
