This is a good powerpoint for an introductory class of physical science or middle school science. It describes the parts of an atom, the 1st four orbitals, and how to determine the number of protons, nuetrons, and electrons. The powerpoint is animated to give small bits at each click of the mouse. The demo will give you an idea of how it works.

This is short and sweet since I have very little time to cover nuclear science with Acids and bases in a Physical Science class. When I get to the part where the slide asks whether an acid is worse or a base, most kids will say acid because of the social stigma of acids.
