This presentation covers the three economic questions, three types of economic systems (briefly), and the free market (surface-level understanding). I created this for my students as an alternative for reading our textbook. Students write two-column notes using the heading of the slide on the left, and the text in red on the right (this can easily be changed or altered for your needs).

This worksheet coincides with the High School Verbs Power Point also included in my store. Material covered includes action verbs, mental and visible verbs, and transitive and intransitive verbs. Examples are given of each--and students complete blanks using the PowerPoint presentation noted above. Students are then asked to apply their knowledge of verbs to correctly identify different verb types.

I created this PowerPoint for use in my 12th grade Econ class. It follows the first chapter of the textbook so students get the information delivered orally and visually as opposed to just reading for themselves. Several of the slides include graphics or charts to help illustrate these basic economic concepts.

This packet compliments the Principles of Government ppt also found in my store and covers: Government and the State, Forms of Government, and Basic Concepts of Democracy. Sections 1 and 2 are preceeded by important vocabulary. Teaching duration will vary--in my classroom this took two weeks when used in conjunction with the 45-slide powerpoint. Really, all that you need to add is a quiz or test, and you have a complete chapter or unit here!

I created this for use in my senior American Government course, along with the Conservative vs. Liberal Viewpoints PPT. Covers most major issues, from abortion to welfare, with fill-in-the-blank style sentences so students can easily keep up.
