This is a page I pass out to students once we have learned about and practiced all the different forms of Spanish Pronouns-- Reflexive, Direct, and Indirect. It is a "cheat sheet" or resource page they can use to look pronouns up without having to ask you! Also has rules and tips for them.

This is an activity for students to practice and/or review the Irregular Preterit. It covers Car/Gar/Zar, Irregular stems, and Dar/Ver. They use the key and color hte gum balls accordingly. This activity is different because the conjugation is done for them, they are just focusing on the ending to determine the subject. This is an activity to help students better grasp saber y conocer. It can be done as an in-class assignment, as a homework, as a quiz grade etc. If you don't want them to cut/glue, they can just write each one in the correct category. I love it because it forces them to get the information better organized in their minds into the 2 categories. Also included is an extension activity you can do the next day where they have to go back and write the reason (how to, info, person, place, concept)

Graphic organizer to get your students writing about their family in Spanish. If you use the Realidades textbook it goes along with Chapter 5A. Worksheet to practice family vocab in Spanish. Also includes descriptions using Ser, age using Tener, and a few professions. Students have to read a short paragraph in Spanish then label each family member in the tree with their name, age, and a description, all in Spanish. then there are 15 questions they answer in a complete sentence. Have your students research a Spanish speaking country and make an ornament about it! I put the list of countries on the board and let them use their creativity to make any kind of ornament they can think of. We hang them on a paper tree on the wall out in our hallway. Super simple but fun! A great way to end the fall semester. I left the document as a Word doc so it is EDITABLE for you to make shorter, more in depth, etc.

Short activity to help students with commands. Tiered activity- starts with the Spanish command, then slides where the command is covered and i have them guess what it may be. Then blank ones where they come up with the commands themselves. Depending on level of your students you can make this individual, pairs, group, whole class etc. I chose basic "memes" i thought were popular at the moment, but you could use all kinds of photos

This is a great "research" assignment I did with my Spanish 1. I assigned them each or in pairs an authentic food to research, then they created a Google slides presentation to present the required information. You could adapt this to be more in Spanish if you prefer. It is so straight forward and easy to do my students were able to do it with a substitute. Includes the grading rubric. These are 9 different activities using the verb IR to talk about going places, and various locations in Spanish. It is correlated with Realidades, level 1, chapter 4A.
