RACE Writing Strategy. This document has 3 different formats. Each format explains what the strategy is, tips and sentence starters and what an example rubric is to check work. This is a great resource to teach students what the RACE Strategy is, for students to use while writing their response and a great resource for students to check their work.

ABC Behavior tracking form. Use this form to accurately track student's behavior. Teachers, Aides, Admin can all easily follow this data tracking sheet when a behavior is occurring. Having this ready on a clipboard that is easily accessible has been vital for documentation in my experience. Positive and Negative Observable Behaviors Data Tracking Sheet. This sheet can be used to track behaviors to help identify target behaviors. Track behaviors in the beginning, middle and end of class. This data sheet can help identify trigger areas as well as classes that a student excels at.

This is a brainstorming packet that students can use to create their own utopian society. This is a great extension activity when discussing utopian/dystopian texts. Writing Rubric for the RACE Strategy. (Restate the Question, Answer the Question, Cite Evidence, Explain)

Use this template to assist students writing a paragraph using the RACES strategy. Plug in any text into the text box and add the question. The graphic organizer has sentence starters for students to use to help them craft their response.

Use this one sheet as a review to assist students with expressions (factoring, distributing and combining like terms), solving equations and solving expressions. Sample answer key included.

Template of items to include in the Present Levels of Performance to write a solid IEP.

Super Mario calendar numbers that are easy to print and use in a pocket chart. Includes numbers 1-31, months of the year, days of the week and special cards for no school. Clock visual can be placed around the clock to assist with teaching students time. These are also Mario themed.

Use this chart to track student behavior to see how on task / off task they are during class. This is great for tracking behavior for IEP's and progress reports. How to use: 1. Start a stop watch. 2. In the first column, write down what the class activity is. You can also write down other notes that you notice the student / peers doing. 3. This Stress Test is a great tool to use at the start of the school year to identify triggers that students have so that you can be proactive. Prior to using this form, I explain to students the differences between the different levels. Some students are able to complete this independently while others need my assistance.

This is a template to assess students on their understanding of theme, character traits, plot, and sentence writing. Students will use this format to guide them while writing a children's story.
