Use this template for students to practice surveying, collecting data, creating a picture graph and then analyzing their graphs. Measurement can be tough for students especially when comparing inches and centimeters. I use this activity with my students to make measuring fun. Students may need rulers, yardsticks, or tape measures. I first have my students measure their arms, head, legs feet, and hands in inches. Then when we learn about centimeters, the students go back and measure in centimeters. Don't forget to measure their height too!
