This 10 question document has questions that pertain to the Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website. The document includes the link to the website, and instructs students to explore the website to learn about current recommendations for vaccines, then answer the questions. When I use this resource in my classroom, I typically follow it with requiring students to write a persuasive essay giving me their opinions on vaccines.

Students are instructed to fill in two charts by researching common bacterial and viral diseases (separate charts for bacterial and viral). They are instructed to research how each disease can be transmitted or how each disease effects the body. This activity can then be followed up with students completing a more in depth research project about a disease of their choosing.
Students read about Athens and Sparta in an organized chart, answer 20 questions about the chart, then organize similarities and differences in a Venn diagram. At the end of the lesson, students decide whether they would rather be Athenian or Spartan and explain why.
