I designed this game so that my students wouldn't begrudge practicing long division. There are 2 game boards. One of the gameboards has 2 digit dividends with 3 digit dividend challenge problems. The other has 3 digit dividends with 4 digit dividend challenge problems. My students really enjoyed it and barely realized they were practicing long division.

This is an activity in which students find the factors of 1-24 using cookie cereal to make arrays to assist them. They complete a chart as they find each factor. After finding the factors or 1-24, there is a sheet in which they identify the prime and composite numbers. There are also practice finding factors worksheets included. I created this activity as an alternative to the Core Curriculum Unit 2 Activity 4. I've used it in my classroom and it worked very well.

Students will solve 24 problems in which they will multiply by a multiple of 10. If answered correctly, part of the mystery picture will appear. If incorrect, nothing will appear and they will have to try again in order to complete the picture. I like to use these as center work, homework or early finisher work.

This digital resource has 20 mixed operation problems. Students solve the problem and select an answer. If the problem is correct, they are directed to a good job page and brought back to the problem board. If incorrect, they are brought to a tutorial page and are directed to try again. Students will follow a question map to answer 20 questions about factors and multiples. If answered correctly, students are taken back to the question map. If answered incorrectly, students are taken to a tutorial slide and are instructed to try again. I like to use this as independent practice or homework when we finish up our unit on factors and multiples to practice for the test. I have students record their answer choices so they can keep track of questions they may need more help with.

These puzzlers are GREAT for early finishers or workstations. They truly challenge your students to be problem solvers. There are 6 puzzles.
