I created a set of cards to tell my students the story of the history of writing. I cut out and laminated the text cards and the matching picture cards. I lay out the picture card as I tell the story, and then place the matching text underneath. When completed, this creates a timeline of the history of writing.

This letter to students and parents explains the autobiography project and gives them a chapter guideline. Chapters can be changed and rearranged by you, I found that I cut out some of the chapters toward the end of the project.
