Asking for help

My students often require assistance but don't ask for help. This is very frustrating to me as a speech therapist. I need them to be able to verbalize when they need more help. Someone will not always be there to read their facial expressions or notice that they haven't written anything. Other students have auditory processing difficulties and need things repeated several times. Whatever the case, these kids need to ask for help. I have included a color set and a black and white set.

In order to celebrate better speech and hearing month I made a trivia quiz to give to my staff. I gave out prizes for those who answered the most correct answers. WOW the response was well received. I had teachers sending me back their answers with research articles to prove their answers. What teachers won't do for coffee! This is a great tool to help engage and motivate your staff to learn about what you do in the schools. I have included an answer key but your school might do things different

This is a multi purpose product. Some of the kids were introduced the vocabulary words such as astronaut, other kids made a story why the astronaut was in an alien's spaceship. This pro
