In this activity your students are to recreate a diamante poem in Spanish using the vocabulary words that they have learned. (adjectives) I have used this template with 6-8 graders and it works really well. You can also add to this activity by having your students draw pictures of themselves on a diamond beneath or in the back.
The product is a copy of an image found on google images. I adapted to create the worksheet. I am sharing for free.
It is perfect for reviewing body parts in

This power point presentation includes all of the vocabulary for this theme. In addition, I included some terms and verbs previously learned as a review. I use the power point to introduce the vocabulary and also to play review games with my students such as around the world.

This is an activity that can be done as a pre-chapter activity or post-chapter activity. I like to use it as a pre-chapter activity because it gives students a good idea of what will be covered in the chapter.
I use this power point presentation to tell the story of Paco and how terrible his day is. I use the vocabulary from Realidades Ch. 3A.
Prior to showing the video my students have seen the power point on the vocabulary. Then I TPR the vocabulary with them. I introduce "tengo hambre" at this time. I TPR the story first and then I show them the slide show presentation of the story. At the end of the story students work with partners to answer the either/or questions or the yes/no questions.
