This is a great activity to have students practice writing using hace + que + time expressions followed by a speaking activity that gets your whole class involved. Students describe how long they have been doing activities from Realidades 2 text Chapter 1B and then ask various students how long they have done the same and record their classmates' answers.

This is a GREAT game to get kids reviewing their A ver si recuerdas vocabulary and is super fun for the kids! To play: Divide the class into three to four teams, and divide your whiteboard into three or four sections (one area per group). Have the first person from each team go to the board and pick up a whiteboard marker. Say an English word/phrase, and the students at the front race to be the first to write it correctly. A great way to review the first section of A ver si vocabulary and grammar with your students! Rules: Teacher needs a review sheet with 20 questions to hand out to kids prior, and cards with each question that has assigned point values (positive and negative).
