Pre-Algebra Weekly Warm-Ups

Weekly Warm-Ups are used at the beginning of the Math class or lesson to help the students focus on Math and “warm-up their math brains.” When I begin using the warm-ups I allow 5 – 7 minutes for the warm-up each day/ class. Experience

I have worked in Public schools for 10 years. I am currently homeschooling my 15 and 13 year old daughters as well as many students in our community. I absolutely love teaching and truly want to share my gift of curriculum writing with others.

Teaching style

Very active and energetic teacher. I love to use foldables and any kind of hands on activities for my students. I love to use props when teaching and to ask relevant but challenging questions.

Graduated from SHSU in Huntsville, Tx with a degree in Academic Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Education. I am certified to teacher EC-6 with and ESL endorsement.

Additional biographical information

I am a homeschooling mom that is currently working on building my curriculum writing skills. Math and Science are my main areas of expertise as I have taught Math and science for 8 years out of the 10 years I taught in public school. Due to homeschooling and teaching all subjects, I am quickly learning to love Reading and Writing and learning how to incorporate these subjects into Math and Science even more than before.
