Factor Polynomials Cut and Paste {Digital Version} gives students the opportunity to categorize 31 polynomials based on binomials vs trinomials. Then students further categorize into:
♦quadratic formula
♦trinomials with a = 1
♦trinomials with a not equal to 1
♦perfect square trinomials
♦difference of squares
♦sum of 2 cubes
♦difference of cubes.
As a further extension, students can factor these polynomials and find the zeros. If students go all the way through finding the zeros, it may take up

Help students figure out what to do next when solving area problems. This graphic organizer gives students a step by step process for solving area and it gives them space within the organizer to solve these problems. This document is set up as a template so teachers can have students fill in with whatever problems relate to the specific classroom. Students should write each step of their process next in the space provided next to the step description.
