Students decide which one number does not belong with the rest, (i.e. which is the oddball) and justify why they think it does not belong. There can be more than one correct answer for each card.

In order to differentiate:
- Odd problems: are single step and divide evenly.
- Even problems: are either multi-step or involve interpreting remainders. Some even problems have zeros in the quotient.
Created as a scoot, but could be used in other various ways.
Scoot can be differentiated with lower students doing odd problems and higher students doing even problems.
