This data sheet is one I created and used to collect data for a student on my caseload who eloped (left class suddenly and without permission) frequently, didn't complete work, was aggressive, and would be non-compliant toward most directions. On the other hand, it is important to know how many times the student is compliant and how long the student is on task. Sometimes in the middle of writing IEPs it can get overwhelming and you may forget something. I created this checklist to help myself make sure I remembered everything for the meetings. This product is editable to the requirements of your state and district. I created mine for Norfolk Public Schools in Virginia's requirements.

Teaching style
I believe in teaching by modeling. I do-we do-you do. Practice is very important. Reinforcement is also very important in teaching for me. When I teach reading strategies and students miss a question, I ask, what strategy could you have used to get to the right answer to allow the students to see that strategies are important.

My own education history
i have my Associate's Degree in Elemenetary Education. After receiving that degree, I received my Bachelor's in American Studies, which is another way of describing Social Studies past and current. I then went for my Master's Degree in Special Education.

I am a wife and mommy to 1 kindergartener. We live in Florida and are excited to read together as a family.
