After fossils are made behind a folder (Shh, it's a secret), students attempt to identify the other groups' fossils and record their findings on a data sheet. Finally, the big reveal! Students will observe school lunches from around the world and answer questions regarding the lunches of other countries compared to the typical school lunch from the USA. Students are also required to complete a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting USA lunch and a lunch from another country. I use this activity as a warm up to a lesson.
