I have been teaching science in a public, suburban high school in New York for over 10 years. I am certified in biology, general science and special education. I have taught general education, special education, and honors students. Most recently I began teaching AP Biology and I absolutely love it! Teaching style

I believe in student-centered learning with an emphasis on teacher-directed motivational activities. I love to enhance learning with inquiry-based activities that allow students to discover the information on their own either during independent or group lessons.
