Greek/Latin Vocabulary Graphic Organizer- I created this graphic organizer to help some of the students in my 8th grade ELA classes who were struggling with learning roots, prefixes, and suffixes. CCGPS aligned.

A detailed PowerPoint about how to complete a close read of a text following the RACE strategy. Great for getting students to master some of the most difficult and challenging ELA standards! Students will practice citing evidence, introducing evidence, answering questions completely, and so much more. This process can be used with any text in any content area!

This is a checklist of the 8th grade ELA CCGPS. It is a Word document that includes a table with each standard and sub-standard and several boxes to indicate the dates on which the standards were taught. Please feel free to edit to customize and make your own!
