Composition: “Chopsticks” is a well-known musical composition for keyboard instruments. I have arranged it for two xylophones and a marimba for a grade 1 difficulty for beginning players.
Options:
1. Bell sets may also be used in this arrangement.
2. Two players may play the marimba parts separately.
3. Piano may be used for the marimba parts.
4. First section may be repeated at a faster tempo.

Cymbalism
Composition: “Cymbalism” is composed as an introduction to cymbals at the elementary school level. Written in 4/4 with one Snare Drum, one Bass Drum, a set of Crash Cymbals, a Suspended Cymbal, and as many Finger Cymbals as you have remaining students it displays the importance of all types of cymbals, especially the Finger Cymbals. Your students will WANT to play the Finger Cymbals.
