This PowerPoint gives students the opportunity to view different animals and plants. They also are able to interact with the PowerPoint by choosing what an animal looks like and what a plant looks like. The PowerPoint challenges students to think about the different characteristics of plants and animals.

In this interactive STEM lesson, students explore what plants need to survive and apply that knowledge by designing and building a model habitat for a seed in a harsh environment. Using teamwork and the engineering design process, they’ll create, test, and reflect on their plant habitat models while recording observations in a science journal.
