This is the first of six booklets providing instruction in traditional cursive script. They move from large letters to smaller and smaller script. They also move from tracing to copying and writing original materials. The series ends by showing the student how to handle the "tails" of letters when a blank space hasn't been provided as when they write on standard binder paper. This one could be used in Grade 2 to introduce cursive.

I have used a colour&underlining code. These are the Key Questions: Which one is it? Who did it? What did he do? To

BFH Grade 3-4 This is the first of my six booklets in the Barchowsky Fluent Hand. Nan Barchowsky has designed a script that provides an easy step from "printing" to "cursive" in one script. It is useful for Algebra, too, and means that only one script needs to be learned. Nan provides lessons to doctors and other professionals who want to improve their essential hand-written notes. This first booklet gives the letter formation in a large size.

This is the fifth of five booklets. The first four are at the K/1 level teaching how to make the letters and putting them in alphabetical order in meaningful groups. This is for 2-3. Fluent handwriting enables the child to concentrate on writing what he wants to say. It also helps the child to read because his familiarity with making letters and spelling words familiarizes him with the sounds of the code. Many children who are behind in learning to read have gaps in handwriting skills. The

Number Readiness could be used from Pre-K to Grade 1 depending on the abilities of the student. Some pages are designed to be cut up and parts glued on a worksheet. It is expected that the child(ren) have an adult or older child to help the students talk about the images and help where needed.
